About Me

Hi fellow bloggers. I'm learning how to do this whole blog thing. I'm a bit older which means that my kids want to help me put this together. I'm too afraid of what they will post so here I go. A little about me; I have graduated with a bachelors degree in business from Ball State University and I am now attending IUPUI to earn a certificate in elementary education. I chose this drastic change in careers because I wanted to come home each night and feel like I have made a difference. I've quit my job as Regional Director of Sales and I am now grinning from ear to ear as I walk through campus with my backpack. : ) It is awesome to know what you will be when you grow up. I wish all of you younger students the best in early discovery. Look forward to hearing from you all soon.

    Working with children is so important these days especially because some of the children in schools today don't have the moral support they need from their parents so they look up to their teachers for love and support!! Teaching children of all ages is a gift and is very unique. You have to love working with children in order to be a teacher because if you don't have patience and the heart to work with kids then you are in the wrong field of work. I currently work in a preschool in Fishers and I love working with children and have been since I over 10 years now.
